Frequently asked questions
Start here for how the platform works.
Is SwarShala a music academy?
SwarShala is a music-learning discovery and matching platform. Independent teachers and academies provide the lessons and set their own policies.
Does an enquiry book a class?
No. It tells our team your preferences. Any proposed provider, availability, trial and fee must be discussed and confirmed separately.
Are all teachers verified?
No blanket verification claim is made. Public profiles require permission and review before publication. Any future badge must explain precisely what was checked and when.
Is there a charge for enquiring?
The public site does not take payment for guides, match requests or provider interest registration. Independent providers set lesson fees; ask for a written quote.
Will my details go to providers?
Only if you separately choose provider-sharing permission. If you decline it, the request remains with the SwarShala team. You can ask to withdraw permission for future introductions.
Can children submit a form?
A parent or legal guardian aged 18 or older must submit an enquiry for a minor, using the adult’s contact details.
Does payment change the recommendations?
The current site has no paid placement. Future sponsored listings must be labelled and distinguished from editorial guidance.
Can a provider manage their information?
Providers can register interest and request updates through support. Publication requires review and permission. A public self-service profile dashboard is not available in this release.
