For serious study, yes. A digital piano with weighted keys is an excellent affordable option. Acoustic pianos are ideal but not mandatory. We can recommend suitable instruments based on your budget.
Children can start as young as 4-5 years, though 6-7 is often ideal. Adults of any age can learn piano - it's never too late to begin!
With regular practice, most students are ready for Grade 1 within 6-12 months of starting. We provide structured preparation for all grade examinations.
